Congratulations to Michael Leaman who received the ‘Best in show’ award for his work ‘Coton Manor Woodland’. You can see this and all the other works until 18th December. Admission to the exhibition is free.
We were delighted to learn that 78 Derngate has, once again, received a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence.
The achievement celebrates organisations that have earned great reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year through continually delivering a quality customer experience. "With the Certificate of Excellence, TripAdvisor honours hospitality businesses that have consistently received strong praise and ratings from travellers”, said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor.
TripAdvisor, which is the world's largest travel site, analyses the reviews and ratings posted by visitors. Organisations that consistently achieve a score of four or more out of five, qualify for the Certificate of Excellence. Because the rating system is entirely based on the independent reviews of visitors, the 2016 award for 78 Derngate is a much-cherished achievement which reflects the hard work of our dedicated team; the majority of whom volunteer their time and make the visitor experience consistently excellent.
We were thrilled to learn that 78 Derngate has been awarded a Gold Accolade by Visit England, the official tourist board for England. The award is recognition of the quality visitor experiences on offer. Assessing everything from customer service to catering and the facilities, the accolades aim to recognise those attractions going the extra mile to create an enjoyable and memorable visitor experience. The accolades are allocated through a scoring system based on an annual assessment by VisitEngland. They include the Welcome accolade, Hidden Gem, Best Told Story, Quality Food & Drink and the Gold accolade ( of which very few are given each year ) for top-scoring attractions.
