Fellow Cultural Quarter business, Voni Blu, held a fantastic Charity Fashion Show here at 78 Derngate earlier this month! More than 70 attendees packed out the new mezzanine and Barwell Rooms whilst the models, make up artists and hair stylists took up temporary residence in our Bassett-Lowke Rooms as they prepared for the catwalk. With raffle prizes donated by local businesses and individuals, a glass of fizz (or two!) in hand and a demonstration by Finn&Co Hair Salon and KS Flowers, visitors enjoyed a fabulous evening event!
Voni Blu owner, Yvonne Spence commented: "It's great to see the hard work put in by everyone was rewarded with an evening enjoyed by so many whilst raising an incredible amount in support of Cynthia Spencer Hospice and, of course, 78 Derngate. I'd like to thank the models for presenting an amazing catwalk, students from the University of Northampton for undertaking the photography and videography, all the local businesses who donated outstanding raffle prizes and 78 Derngate for hosting the event."
It was our first fashion show held in the new extension and it was brilliant to see so many here and to feel the buzz and energy it brought to all the spaces and proves just how flexible it is!
