In 1922 W.J Bassett-Lowke, owner of 78 Derngate, commissioned Charles Rennie Mackintosh to design his personal Christmas card for that year.
Mackintosh produced this spectacular design that reflected both Bassett-Lowke's interests in modern forms of transport and his dynamic attitude to life and business.
This card was to become Bassett-Lowke's favourite design from all of the cards he commissioned over the years.
It has now been reprinted and is available exclusively from 78 Derngate. It is one of very few Christmas cards that Mackintosh actually designed himself and bears his signature. A collectable and a stylish way to send Christmas greetings to friends and family.
